Singer/songwriter Chris Peters (vocals, background vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar) has been writing and performing in New England for over ten years and has infiltrated many of the local music scenes.  His edgy and sincere style has broken boundaries between rock, folk, and country music, as he has performed as an acoustic soloist and with hard hitting alternative bands.  His experience with Nostalgic Distortion (94-95) and Black Wednesday have solidified his personal style which defines the October Sons sound. Lane (lead guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals, background vocals) is no stranger to the stage or studio, releasing four CDs in the past five years and performing in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont and New York.  Referred to as a "secret guitar weapon" by Portland's FACE MAGAZINE , Lane's recordings have been heard on ROCK 101 WGIR , 100.3 WHEB ,  105.5 WJYY and many other commercial and college radio stations.  He is thrilled to be working with Ekstrom again and to be sharing the stage with the talent and enthusiasm of Chris Peters. Drummer Kurt Ekstrom (drums, percussion) provides the backbeat and pulse that drives the October Sons .  He fills this role with ease, having played the drums for over 18 years.  Ekstrom has performed in New England bands ranging in style from jazz and blues to all angles of rock, allowing him to demonstrate and strengthen his versatility as a drummer.  His experience as a performer combined with numerous studio credits make him the perfect secret ingredient in the October Sons Milkshake.
